Nanomotion
manufactures electronic motors that feature extremely
accurate and precise movement coupled with remarkable
speed and force.
Based
on reversed Piezo-ceramic technology, Nanomotion has
developed a series of unique electronic motors that
have no moving parts and have no external or intrinsic
magnetic fields. Motion is achieved as a result of oscillating
ceramic elements, which are driven and controlled electronically.
These revolutionary motors enable systems to surpass
existing levels of accuracy by two orders of magnitude,
while maintaining unlimited travel of speed and force.

Applications
for this line include: CD SEM, TEM, Auger Microscopes
and other demanding uses.
These
motors can operate in vacuum environments of down to
10-10 Torr and have no external or intrinsic magnetic
fields.
